Nov. 25th – Name – Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, TX “Taking these courses definitely comforted my desire to get closer to God”
Him: I did not know what to expect coming into these marriage prep courses while I was in RCIA. But these courses were so relatable and I applied them to mine and Cristine's relationship. We became closer as we went through the questions and discussions together. The discussions were sometimes hard but definitely saw the importance of communication.
Her: The marriage prep courses were great; it made us stop and discuss these hard to have conversations. But in the end being transparent and learning about ourselves as a couple will set us up for success as a married couple.
Both: The courses definitely brought out topics we have not discussed in depth before. The courses definitely opened up our communication so we were able to have these conversations and realize we love each other on another level; by knowing we are on the same path and have the same plans for our future.
Nov. 18th – Mike and Jonna – Archdiocese of St. Louis, MO “The course made me think more deeply about how I want to be a role model to my wife, and my children and help guide them to Heaven”
Him: I felt like the detailed explanations of the theology and catechism on how to have a marriage with God at the center was beneficial to our upcoming marriage.
Her: I liked the personal advice that was rooted in our faith, and I appreciated the relatable experiences that our instructors shared, which helped to guide our marriage prep course.
Nov. 11th – Wasin and Stephanie – Diocese of Orange, CA “I appreciated the personal stories from the instructors”
Him: This course was very nice, I enjoyed the topics of discussion and questions.
Her: I agree, this course brought up a lot of sensitive topics for discussion. I love how there were ways to improve our marriage with good examples and references.
Both: Many sensitive topics were discussed and it really opened up more communication between us.

Nov. 4th – Josh and Abbey – Diocese of Belleville, IL “I really feel like we both learned a lot not only within our religion but also techniques and skills that we can apply to our everyday lives in order to carry out a more successful marriage in years to come.”
Him: This was an excellent way to work on our catholic prep work on our own privately at our own pace. It allowed us time to think about answers and discuss things prior to filling out the assignments to turn into our instructors.
Her: I loved the one-on-one support from our leaders and that we were able to take things at our own pace to complete this course with our incredibly busy lives!
Both: It has not only made us feel more comfortable communicating but also makes us think more before we say how we feel so we can be patient with our partner and practice active listening more!

Oct. 28th – Alvaro and Posada – Diocese of Fairbanks, AK “It has strengthened my faith in the Church and my desire to learn more about it”

Him: The time we shared together doing this course helped us discover things we hadn’t noticed before.
Her: It helped us understand the importance of inviting Christ into our relationship and how beneficial communication is in our relationship as a couple.
Both: Thank you for the time you dedicated to us during this course and for guiding us through the various topics!

Oct. 21st – Connor and Natalia – Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, TX “It was so informational and so knowledgeable and we really feel like we have grown and have become better individuals because of it”
Him: This was a great experience for me and Natalia. We got to make date nights out of this and we learned a lot about each other. It challenged us to have conversations we have never had before. It also made us think of things regarding our marriage and our faith that we never thought about and want to learn more about. I feel like I learned more about myself, Natalia and what our faith journey as a married couple with look like.
Her: I am extremely satisfied with this course! it was really cool for Connor and I to be challenged about our faith and what we want and should expect of each other in our marriage. There were certain things that we agreed and disagreed on, and it prompted really good conversations between the both of us it also taught us how to handle Future problems that may arise. Overall, I’m really happy with how this went and we feel very well prepared for our marriage to continue our faith journey.
Both: We really got to think about what we want out of our marriage. The roles that we need to fill and how we are going to keep Christ at the center of our relationship. It also prompted us to think about future problems we may have or could have and how to navigate those situations.

Oct. 14th – Name – Diocese of Greensburg, PA “It was a nice reminder for me to always put God in the center of our relationship”
Him: This class absolutely helped us grow as a couple. I think it’s definitely a case where you get out of it what you put in, and we took the necessary time to discuss every topic and scenario to make sure we were on the same page. In doing so, our communication has strengthened, and although we’ve always shared similar goals for the future, this course allowed us to confirm and solidify those.
Her: I appreciate the thoughtful and insightful feedback after each course in the answer key, which provided further clarification or just personal insight that we enjoyed reading.
Both: We have great communication already and this course helped remind us to continue communication about things we don’t discuss as frequently and help us check in with each other about deeper topics.
Oct. 7th – Eric and Victoria – Archdiocese of San Francisco, CA “I appreciated all the relatable responses and feedback that was given”
Him: I appreciated every second of this course. one of my biggest expectations since proposing was getting the opportunity to learn and grow with my fiancé on the most important parts of a catholic marriage. I am very thankful and very excited to get married.
Her: I really enjoyed this course. It helped me open up more on my faith and relationship with my partner. I gained such good insight of how to have God centered in our relationship. It also showed how we can be better Christians and partners.
Both: It's opened the daily conversation on God's presence in our lives. We are now praying together daily. We also have found ourselves discussing serious topics more openly. We're really excited to continue applying the many lessons we learned in this program to our marriage and lifelong journey together.

Sep. 30th – Romuald and Un Joung – Diocese of Sacramento, CA “Lots of wisdom was poured into the feedback”
Him: Our instructors were amazing! They responded quickly to our assignments and had some great insight. Also, it was very convenient to do on our own time.
Her: I was thrilled to begin the pre marriage journey with Zach. It was a great experience learning more about each other. Was enjoyable for myself and something I would recommend to any young couple engaged to be married.
Both: It started good in-depth conversations about things that we had previously talked about as well as new things that we had not yet discussed.

Sep. 23rd – Anthony and Gabrielle – Diocese of Rockville Ctr, NY “This course helped teach me how to keep faith at the center point of a relationship and into marriage.”
Him: This course really taught us the importance of our faith within our relationship. It showed us the importance of it now, and in our future as our life evolves and our family grows. It also taught us healthy ways to grow and communicate together. I really enjoyed becoming closer to Gabrielle through this process. The practical skills that we learned in this class with the incorporation of Christ's teachings will only strengthen our marriage. We look forward to our future together and are thankful for what we have taken away from these classes.
Her: This course helped teach me how to keep faith at the center point of a relationship and into marriage - as the anchor of holding together that relationship. Some of the topics and discussions felt like common sense, and a lot of them were tough and required deeper thinking. I liked that some of the questions did require us to work as a team to come up with the answers. It felt very helpful, and bonding.
Both: This course tremendously improved our communication. We were able to talk and work through some uncomfortable topics, we discussed our answers we originally provided. We honestly communicate very well with one another, this course helped point out certain topics for further discussion
