August 19th – Mike and Melissa – Diocese of Montreal, Canada “Our discussions really brought us closer to God”

Him: I really enjoyed the whole process and the feedback received by our instructors. It was a great way to connect further with each other, increase our knowledge and be prepared to celebrate our marriage.

Her: What a great experience!! This brought us closer to God and ourselves. We learned so much and we really feel prepared to take this next step with God by our side.

Both: Through our discussion and the feedback provided, we really got to share our experiences with God, discuss the importance of God in our lives and through our marriage.

August 20th – Seth and Dorothy – Diocese of Fairbanks, AK “It definitely bolstered and strengthen my desire to be closer with God”

Him: I thought the course provoked a lot of deep conversation between me and Dorothy. I believe it helped us to ask deeper questions and it helped us to really broaden and to find more ways to communicate physically and spiritually.

Her: I thought the course was very helpful and gave us a lot of different tools to communicate and to talk about more deep topics. 

Both: It let us open up deeper and talk about our theological differences and also come to find a lot of common ground and invite more prayer into our lives to actually deal with those differences we came up to and to continue forward with God as a part in our conversations.

August 21st – Luis and Frida – Archdiocese of Denver, CO “We learned many things that will be useful for the future”

Him: The course is very important for learning many things we didn't know and hadn't considered for establishing our marriage. The feedback was very constructive for me personally, and knowing that we can learn more every day is gratifying.

Her: I found the course very good; we learned a lot that we can apply to our marriage and our family.

Both: We discussed many things we hadn't thought about or didn't have time to talk about, and we managed to resolve several pending issues.

August 22nd – Ryan and Elizabeth – Diocese of Pittsburgh PA “This shared experience strengthened my connection with my partner and with God”

Him: Our instructor team was incredibly insightful and put forth an extremely helpful amount of supportive context to all of the responses. The topics were relevant and allowed us the time to have deeper conversations as a couple.

Her: Our instructors responded very timely, and you could tell that they put a lot of effort into their responses. I am very thankful that we had them as instructors and that they could help guide us through the course.

Both: This class enabled us to have conversation starters and prompts, allowing us to know where to either begin for certain conversations or where to continue past conversations we've started having, like the forgiveness and financial ones for example.

August 23rd – Pablo and Laisha – Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, TX “The course really ignited my desire to get closer to God, to learn more of his word and keep following the path he paved for us”

Him: I am very satisfied with the course because it really made us think deeply about all the topics and analyze our answers with our great instructor’s feedback.

Her: I am very satisfied with the course because it taught us so many things and I believe it truly prepared us for marriage. 

Both: It helped us learn how to express ourselves better and how to look for and open up to God as well as the importance of following his will.
