Sep. 23rd – Anthony and Gabrielle – Diocese of Rockville Ctr, NY “This course helped teach me how to keep faith at the center point of a relationship and into marriage.”
Him: This course really taught us the importance of our faith within our relationship. It showed us the importance of it now, and in our future as our life evolves and our family grows. It also taught us healthy ways to grow and communicate together. I really enjoyed becoming closer to Gabrielle through this process. The practical skills that we learned in this class with the incorporation of Christ's teachings will only strengthen our marriage. We look forward to our future together and are thankful for what we have taken away from these classes.
Her: This course helped teach me how to keep faith at the center point of a relationship and into marriage - as the anchor of holding together that relationship. Some of the topics and discussions felt like common sense, and a lot of them were tough and required deeper thinking. I liked that some of the questions did require us to work as a team to come up with the answers. It felt very helpful, and bonding.
Both: This course tremendously improved our communication. We were able to talk and work through some uncomfortable topics, we discussed our answers we originally provided. We honestly communicate very well with one another, this course helped point out certain topics for further discussion
Sep. 24th – Gio and Monica – Diocese of Colorado Springs, CO “We plan on attending parish events and continuing RCIA together, growing closer to everyone.”
Him: The step-by-step progression of the course.
Her: The insight into reproductive knowledge and dangers of contraception.
Both: We were able to evaluate our habits and work from there to be more understanding of each other.
Sep. 25th – Dominique and Marissa – Diocese of Oakland, CA “It makes us ready for our wedding. It makes us want to pursue more opportunities at our local church”
Him: This class was very helpful in confirming the discussions we've already had with each other as well as opened up new ideas and discussions that we were not aware of. It allowed us to communicate more intimately to see what we were thinking. This class was very reassuring. I was also very interested in the feedback we've received as well as our instructors own personal stories.
Her: I liked the classes as well as the responses from our instructors. My fiancé and I were able to work together and brainstorm a lot of the questions. The scriptures’ passages were great to read and understand the importance of marriage.
Both: It opened up discussions about our future together as husband and wife. we saw the physical aspect of our relationship, and now were interested in the spiritual portion.
Sep. 26th – Mark and Katherine – Diocese of Portland, OR “I really liked how focused this course was on creating a Christ-centered marriage.”
Him: Some of the topics went into great depth and detail. It was nice to have the good feedback and guidance from our mentor couple. I would recommend this for other couples.
Her: I honestly wasn’t expecting to learn much or find much value in Catholic marriage prep from what I had heard from friends. I was pleasantly surprised; the lessons did bring up some topics of conversation we hadn’t gone too far into yet. I feel like we are walking away with a few more tools in our toolbelt.
Both: For sure, it wasn’t a waste of time :)

Him: I appreciated most the learnings and commentary from Cherrie and Rowell because it felt like an in person private course since we were always able to discuss with someone about the previous assignment.
Her: I appreciated the conversations that would result from each assignment or question that would tell us to answer together since it creates dialogue.
Both: Thank you very much for the course, our instructors Cherrie and Rowell were amazing!
