July 22nd – Brandon and Paige (Interfaith)– Archdiocese of Chicago, IL “It revived my desire to become closer to God and His Church”

Him: The classes provided valuable insights into building a strong and healthy marriage.

Her: I thought the lessons were well thought out and I appreciated the in-depth insight-- as a non-Catholic, it helped me better understand some views the Church has. I felt Frel and Froy were very supportive.

Both: We had to communicate our interpretations of the text provided and explain our views. We have never really done a bible study together so this was something new for us.

July 23rd – Benjamin and Marisa – Diocese of Columbus, OH “It was informative, engaging, and provided a great foundation for our marriage”

Him: The course ignited my desire for a deeper connection with God. It helped me realize how important faith is in our relationship and how it can guide us through life's challenges.

Her: I thought the course was great! It offered a supportive environment to learn and grow together. While some topics were covered in more depth than others, the information presented was practical and relevant to our relationship. I appreciated the opportunity to connect and learn with Ben.

Both: It provided a safe space for us to share our thoughts and feelings openly. We definitely deepened our understanding of each other and built a stronger foundation for our marriage.

July 24th – Cameron and Claire – Diocese of Baton Rouge, LA “Our instructors had great feedback and got us thinking about important topics.”

Him: I thought the course did a great job of bringing us closer together, spending quality time together, and having discussions we probably wouldn’t think to have!

Her: I enjoyed completing this course on our own time since I have a tight schedule with medical school. It gave us the ability to sit down and spend time together working on the questions and having important discussions when it was best for us.

Both: We had awesome deep discussions that we probably would’ve never had. It helped us build those communications skills and to discuss what we each need to strive to improve on to strengthen our relationship even more!

July 25th – Brandon and Caroline – Archdiocese of Toronto, Canada “I now have a much deeper understanding and appreciation for the church,”

Him: This was a lot of fun for us to do. We really spent a lot of time discussing many of the subjects and feel closer to God and each other that I ever have. Content was great, we learned a lot, and found the feedback and the course outline to be very helpful so we could learn at our own pace.

Her: The class sparked a lot of dialogue between us that has been incredibly valuable. It's really given us intentional moments to dive into our relationship and what we want out of marriage. It's helped set clear expectations of each other.

Both: The amount of discussion this course sparked was incredible. For the past few weeks, we reflected on what's important in our relationship and felt our already solid core strengthen further. It prompted deep reflection, ensuring we shared expectations and we dove deep into our past, present, and future. While we know growth lies ahead, we feel more prepared than ever for that journey together.

July 26th – Andrew and Martha– Diocese of Kalamazoo, MI “it revived my faith and has brought me back into the church with more enthusiasm to continue to grow my faith”

Him: For me not being Catholic I found this to be extremely helpful understanding the Catholic Church at a deeper level. It’s brought me closer to God on a spiritual level, as well as brought me even closer to my fiancé. It also really helps me understand her family as well, and why they value the things they do so much. Couldn’t have been better for our relationship.

Her: It was a great conversation starter between Drew and I. It reaffirmed my faith, and made me want to keep growing my faith. In the past few months, it’s been so busy and sometimes I think it’s easy to lose track of what matters and this grounded me again in the church and my priorities in life.

Both: It created dialogue for a lot of things that we had thought we talked about but really never in depth. It brought us both closer and created a deep understanding.
