Oct. 14th – Name – Diocese of Greensburg, PA “It was a nice reminder for me to always put God in the center of our relationship”

Him: This class absolutely helped us grow as a couple. I think it’s definitely a case where you get out of it what you put in, and we took the necessary time to discuss every topic and scenario to make sure we were on the same page. In doing so, our communication has strengthened, and although we’ve always shared similar goals for the future, this course allowed us to confirm and solidify those.

Her: I appreciate the thoughtful and insightful feedback after each course in the answer key, which provided further clarification or just personal insight that we enjoyed reading.

Both: We have great communication already and this course helped remind us to continue communication about things we don’t discuss as frequently and help us check in with each other about deeper topics.

Oct. 15th – Daniil and Alondra – Archdiocese of Seattle, WA “It reminded me how essential prayer and faith are in building a strong marriage”

Him: The courses reminded me how important it is to keep God at the center of our relationship. It reignited my desire to grow spiritually and rely on God’s guidance, not just for myself but for us as a couple. It also helped me reflect on how my faith can strengthen our marriage, and I feel more motivated to attend Mass regularly and build a life rooted in God’s love.

Her: I feel that this program is exactly what every couple needs whether they are starting off their journey to marry or HAVE been married. The instructors were nothing but full of encouragement and support throughout this very personal journey for us.

Both: The courses gave us tools to communicate more openly with one another and brought up questions we weren’t asked before and had to sit down together and dissect each other’s thoughts. We also discussed potential challenges and how we can work together to overcome them, strengthening the foundation of our marriage. This process has made us more intentional about how we approach our relationship and has brought us closer as a couple.

Oct. 16th – Diego and Olivia – Diocese of Dallas, TX “It gave me a beautiful perspective into Catholic marriage that I cannot wait to be a part of”

Him: It was very nice getting to have a sponsor couple and getting to know them and their story. It helped give a real-world example of a healthy Catholic marriage.

Her: I really appreciated the responses from our sponsor couple. It was clear they read through all of our answers and provided feedback specific to what we had said.

Oct. 17th – Marc and Lourdes – Archdiocese of Portland, OR “It went above my expectations, as it was very dense and profound, and required deep dedication”

Him: The course really connected the teachings and ideas of the Catholic church with being married as Catholics. It framed the act and sacrament of marriage in an efficient way.

Her: It gave so much insight to religion, so much more than what I have learned and remembered from my upbringing, it was an enriching experience.

Both: We have thought to have good communication, but addressing difficult issues has opened our capacity to actively listen and want to learn more from each other. There is always something new to discover and it's exciting and loving to anticipate it.

Oct. 18th – Michael and Victoria – Archdiocese of New Orleans, LA “It has inspired me to take up daily prayer with my future partner”

Him: Everything about this course was amazing. They responded quickly and explained things further. They took the time to clarify our questions and connect our answers. They helped us understand our faith better and inspired us to learn more.

Her: Our instructors went above and beyond at everything. From quick responses back to going so in depth about topics we couldn't have asked for more. They took the time to sit there and explain what the question was saying and relating our answer to it. They helped us get a better understanding of our faith and wanting to learn more.

Both: It brought up topics we had discussed before but in passing. This allowed us to sit and have these conversations and make decisions on our future, not just make talk about it.
