Feb. 27th – Elias and Scarlett – Archdiocese of Los Angeles, CA “This course gave me even more of a reason to get closer to God”
Him: I appreciated the quality work of our instructors and the amazing feedback they gave us.
Her: This class was excellent, we learned a lot of new information that will help us in our life journey.
Both: This course allowed us to think about life together and work together to find various solutions.
Feb. 28th – William and Ashley – Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, TX “This course helped me better understand how to center my marriage around God”
Him: Very Educational! I learned so much, not only about the Catholic faith, but about important Christian based teachings that are important for marriage.
Her: I loved this class. This showed me that marriage and sexual teachings of the Catholic Church are not just old traditions and superstitions, they are a culmination of thousands of years of knowledge. This class presented those teachings in a relevant way that my fiancé and I can benefit from. Our instructors are awesome! I loved their advice and personal examples. They really made the course special.
Both: We loved the personalized explanations from our instructors.
Mar. 1st – Tyler and Kayla – Diocese of Savannah, GA “I appreciated our mentors taking time out of their personal lives to engage in this journey with us”
Him: The class was very informative and engaging. We enjoyed the feedback based on our answers.
Her: The class was incredibly informing and interactive. We truly enjoyed the various topics and discussions that allowed us to open up with one another.
Both: We were able to have intimate discussions that we wouldn't necessarily have if it weren't for this course. It was great to be able to share our own beliefs and compare with each other to build one perspective.
Mar. 2nd – Alvin and Nicolina – Archdiocese of Detroit, MI “The course helped me feel more comfort in my faith”
Him: Our instructors did a great job with our assignment reviews, they were very well thought-out answers and responses.
Her: This was an excellent course- our instructors provided wonderful feedback that allowed us to connect on a deeper level as a couple prior to moving onto this chapter of marriage.
Both: We were able to discuss and share our thoughts on several topics we may have not gone so deep into, and that allowed us to grow stronger together as a couple.
Mar. 3rd – Daniel and Emily – Diocese of Fort Wayne - South Bend, TX “This course also helped us to dive into our faith and see where we can help each other grow closer to Christ”
Him: The course was insightful and included a lot of thought provoking questions that required critical thinking. The course provided a great overview of the Catholic teachings regarding Holy Matrimony, and it also brought awareness to many of the challenges of marriage. The course challenged societal norms and reminded us that marriage is not only a commitment to each other but also to God and the Church.
Her: I thought this course really explained the sacrament of Matrimony to us and what the Church's teachings are on marriage, raising children, contraception, and NFP, which were teachings that we had both heard about but didn't fully grasp until completing this course.
Both: The course challenged us to pray more together. The course emphasized the importance of praying and communicating with each other.
