Him: Going into this course, I wasn’t sure what to expect since I’m not Catholic, but I was really impressed by how welcoming and meaningful it was. It gave me a much better understanding of what marriage means in the Catholic faith and how deeply spiritual it can be. I especially appreciated the parts about forgiveness and conscience; they felt universal and really relevant to any relationship. The section on NFP was also eye-opening and respectful. I walked away feeling more connected to Fernanda and more prepared for our life together.
Her: As a Catholic, this course meant a lot to me. It helped me reflect on the sacrament of marriage in a deeper way and reminded me that our relationship is part of something sacred. I loved that Jerome felt included and respected throughout the course. It made me feel even more confident in the path we’re taking together. The sessions on God’s plan for marriage, the marital rite, and forgiveness were especially powerful. I feel like we’re walking into marriage with a stronger foundation, spiritually and emotionally.
Both: The course gave us the opportunity to have deeper, more intentional conversations about our values, faith, and future together. It helped us open up about topics we hadn’t fully discussed before and brought us closer as a couple. It definitely helped us start building a strong foundation for our marriage.
