Saul and Lizet – Diocese of Dallas, TX

Him: These classes have helped us understand each other and talk about topics we might not have discussed before this course. What I appreciate the most is the time we spent together answering the questions and having meaningful conversations. This course has made me want to grow closer to God and the Church, and I plan to attend Mass and participate in the church activities.

Her: I truly appreciated seeing Saul dedicate this time to prepare for our marriage. He works very hard—almost 12 hours a day—and even though he would get home late, he was always willing to do the assignments, because he knows how much this means to both of us. I’m excited to get married and to be able to help in our church. I look forward to having children, bringing them to church, and teaching them everything we’ve learned, so they too can grow up with a love for God.

Both: Even when we don’t agree on something, we know we can respect each other’s point of view. We’ve also learned to share what we’re going through and to pray for one another, because we are a team.
