Through prayer, discussion, and faith-based guidance, I felt encouraged to trust God more fully with our future.
Andrew and Christina – Diocese of Peoria, IL
Him: The course was meaningful, practical, and faith centered. It created space for honest conversations, strengthened communication, and helped me better understand marriage as a commitment rooted in God. I feel more prepared and confident moving forward with a strong foundation for married life.
Her: It encouraged spiritual growth, strengthened our bond as a couple, and reinforced the importance of God and the Church in our marriage. The course helped me feel supported, grounded, and excited to enter marriage with faith at the center.
Both: The process of the course intentionally created space for open, honest communication that we might not have otherwise slowed down to have. It encouraged us to talk through important topics in depth, expectations, values, conflict, faith, and future goals, and to really listen to one another’s perspectives
We thought the course would be more “robotic”, just answering questions and moving on to the next assignment; but it was much more personal and engaging than we expected.

José Luis and Josmary– Diocese of Allentown, PA (Convalidation)

Him: I was afraid to start this course and I’m not sure why. But I absolutely loved being able to take it alongside Josmary, and I learned many things that I will never forget. It’s not only about having faith, but also about feeling God’s presence with us.
Her: I truly loved it. Before starting, I was very stressed. I thought it would be very difficult, but it wasn’t at all. It was also a lot of fun to do it together with him. Since taking this course, I’ve felt inspired to become a lector at my parish and participate more in church life. This course renewed my faith, and I want to become more involved in the Church.
Both: Sometimes we would argue over small things, but now we have both learned to be more patient and talk through things in a positive and respectful way. We appreciated everything, but especially the feedback from our instructors.
After talking with family members who attended marriage preparation in person, we found the privacy and flexibility of this online course allowed us to be more open, more honest, and better prepared for marriage.
Truc Bui and Quynh Huong Tran– Diocese of San Jose, CA
Him: The flexibility of the online course fit perfectly into our busy schedules while allowing us to discuss difficult topics privately and honestly. The lessons deepened my understanding of important issues I had never fully considered, and the feedback from our mentors made every assignment even more meaningful.
Her: This course reinforced that marriage is about more than the two of us, it is about welcoming God into every aspect of our lives. It strengthened my appreciation for Church teaching and gave us confidence as we prepare for a lifelong vocation together.
Both: We especially appreciated the freedom to discuss sensitive topics openly in the privacy of our home. The course encouraged us to build our future marriage on faith, communication, forgiveness, and service to others. We are excited to continue growing together while serving our parish and community.
The discussions continued long after each lesson ended. We are still talking about many of these topics today, and they have given us a deeper appreciation for one another and for the sacredness of the vocation we are preparing to live.
Daniel and Jennifer– Diocese of Lansing, MI (Convalidation)
Him: Learning God’s plan and intention for marriage, together with the Church’s teachings, gave us a strong foundation. The practical relationship tools and meaningful conversations helped us better understand our faith, navigate life together, and communicate more effectively.
Her: The course connected the Church’s teachings on marriage with everyday life in a practical way. The variety of videos, Scripture, quizzes, and discussions helped us better understand the Sacrament of Marriage while strengthening our relationship.
Both: This course deepened our understanding of the Sacrament of Marriage while preparing us for our convalidation through Scripture, authentic discussion, and practical relationship tools.

This course helped us build confidence in our relationship, deepen our conversations, and grow closer to God.
Michael and Claire– Diocese of Paris, France
Him: This course was great. It really made Claire and me open up and have deep conversations with each other. It made us get to know each other, established confidence in our relationship, and made us feel closer to God.
Her: Very satisfied! It offered much more depth than I expected and gave us so many opportunities to have meaningful conversations that led us into topics we found both interesting and bonding.
Both: Through the guided discussions and answering the questions, we were able to have detailed, in -depth, and very specific conversations on hard topics that most couples try not to bring up.
